Hello. I used Sweezer for quite some time before Opera for Mobile came out, and it is a very good product, and I think 'notable' in the market, and worthy of an article. I'll write a small article about it. After I make this 'stub' article, I can put a 'RFC' (request for comment' in the mobile phone section (I think there is one) and experienced editors will probably help make it much better. If you have a copy of the old article it would be helpful to re-post it here, Link which is the temporary article space. Bmedley Sutler 20:13, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Thanks very much for your interest. The editor who deleted the original article suggested I put a temporary Skweezer article using much of the original text in my own user page and disclose my affiliation up front. If it's my voice only, the bias (even unintentional) may become evident. How should I proceed? Move the text over? Please let me know. I'm new to this...
You should put a few lines of text in each section before its moved to 'article space', and you need to have links to sources. You need to have 'outside' sources other than Greenlight (except for the 'history' and 'stats' parts). You should have links to outside sources that talk about its 'notability', so no one argues about that issue. Are there any independant studies about how manay people use Skweezer? About how prevelant it is? Do you have a list of all the propritary versions, and how many users each one has? (like this article on Orange Link I found a good review here. Link Also be aware that many blogs are not allowed. If its just one guy's blog about how great Skweezer is, it probably won't be. If its an industry blog that is well regarded, it will be. You can sign your name with four tildes. I'll check out Skweezer vs Opera again on my Sanyo 7400 (on Sprint). (update: Just DL'd Opera Mini 4 Beta - Wow!) Skweezer was a real 'Godsend' to me before Opera came out. I used it every day. Glad to help Bmedley Sutler 22:22, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
