Welcome!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Bana82! I'm White Shadows, and I've been editing Wikipedia for a while. I'm here to say hi. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that I'm supposed to recommend to you:

It's a bit like giving you an instruction manual (and who reads the manual), so just ask me if you get stuck with anything. (of if you want those pages in a nutshell) I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, see Wikipedia:Questions, or ask me on my talk page.

And in case your wondering, I am a real person, and this isn't an automated process.--Coldplay Expért Let's talk 04:41, 3 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please note that people are considered to be knighted as soon as the honour is gazetted. It is a common misconception that they have to wait to actually be physically knighted by the Queen. In actual fact, they can call themselves "Sir" and use the postnominals immediately. -- Necrothesp (talk) 11:23, 11 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
