Your edits to Tiger

edit

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. DVD+ R/W 21:54, 10 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please take a look at my effort in the tiger talk page. I didn't revert anything without any explanation. There has been an effort made by so many people to change some false information in the tiger article. Users Thegoodson, Sohola and 155.53.44.203 keep on reverting according to their point of views without giving any reason. As civil people we are trying discuss something but they are acting foolish swearing and being aggressive and keep reverting. If you read "Serious issue", "This has got to stop" and "recaption or remove" respectively you would have an idea of what's going on. Thank you. BJK1903 22:15, 10 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've given you the same advice I gave 155.53.44.203, which follows. You are obviously a party in this content dispute-- a good forum for you to state your case is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/3RR. But there are other avenues, see Wikipedia:Resolving disputes for advice, and please, try to avoid edit warring. Regards, DVD+ R/W 22:20, 10 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yeah! We civil people are trying to show them the truth, but they just swear, be aggresive, etc. Dora Nichov 09:15, 12 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

lion

edit

I have also primarily read about the predation of crocodiles on lions. A TV species on Animal Planet years ago, about lions, featured an instance where a huge crocodile dragging a healthy lioness down into the depths. I'm sorry, I don't have a name for this special. In the same show, a tug of war occurred between a big crocodile and a male lion occurred over a hippopotamus (?) carcass, at the end of which both predators got a piece. Thanks for your edits to Tiger

It seems there is a revert war going on, but the ultimate goal should be to inform the reader in the easiest and most informative way possible. You seem to be helping that. Thanks Inforazer 14:54, 4 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Mediation

edit

I was inspecific as to the problems with the Tiger page--my goal is to simply get a mediator in there to review the issues and recommend an easy solution for everyone, or lock the page if the edit war doesn't stop.--Caliga10 15:58, 4 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Listen, I really am getting frustrated with your unsubstantiated edits. Fact is tigers do not on average weigh up to 485 lbs. Tigers in Northern India, Nepal and Bangladesh are weighing 517 lbs on average, Tigers further to the south are weighing between 480-500 lbs on average, with some specimens weighing well in excess of 550 lbs and approaching the 600 lb mark. These figures and statistics were shown and sourced to you guys by user 24.195.5.193 in the tiger discussion under the heading "Tiger & lion weights, and tigers and crocs". Those are figures for Bengals, let's not even get into the Siberians, which, as we all know are undisputedly the largest felines on earth. There is nothing to further discuss or argue, it's over. I am willing to put this to rest and have peace, but I will not compromise the article and will fight for it no matter what it takes. User:TheGoodSon
