I created a Katie Davis Biography for consideration as a feature article. I completed it in the Sandbox. When I do a search for the page, it does appear. I am not sure how to proceed to peer review and whether the page that I created in Sandbox can be used or if I need to create it elsewhere. I fixed the info box, but I'm new here too. You can paste the tag {{helpme}} here on your talk page, and someone will attempt to help you shortly though. Ched (talk) 05:04, 11 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

You may also want to look at this page: Wikipedia:Citing sources. It's long and rather dry reading, but it has information and links on how to get your page formatted a little better. Good Luck ;) Ched (talk) 05:20, 11 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Awake Spirit Publishing & Katie Davis

edit

Hello, I came across the Katie Davis article by chance, because it was inappropriately categorized. I've already cleaned that up, removing the "red-linked" (i.e. non-existent) categories and the higher-level categories (not right for a bio article), and found one very good category for the article. However, after looking at your user page, I'm concerned that there would appear to be a possible conflict of interest issues here, since Awake Spirit Publishing is the publisher of Ms. Davis' books. So I would recommend that you read through that page ASAP, as Wikipedia is not intended to serve as a forum for commercial promotion. It's generally best for such articles to be written by editors who have no direct connection to the person or product. Best wishes, Cgingold (talk) 20:59, 28 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Katie Davis

edit

The article Katie Davis has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability, sources are not reliable, has been tagged for years without improvement. Nothing helpful found via Google.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
