Some advice

edit

Hello Austincapobianco. I saw your message on Lugia2453's talk page and thought I would give you some advice. Some of the words below are linked to the appropriate Wikipedia policies for you to review.

  • In order for your book to have a Wikipedia article, it has to be notable. Notability is determined by significant, non-trivial coverage from reliable sources that are independent of the subject.
  • As the creator of the work, you are not the best judge of your book's notability. Writing about your own work is considered a conflict of interest, and using Wikipedia as publicity for your work is expressly forbidden.

I suggest you read Wikipedia's plain and simple conflict of interest guide, and the notability guide for books. If and when your book becomes notable for others to write about, someone else will probably create an article about it. Wikipedia is for topics/works that are already notable, not a place for someone to try to create notability for their work. Thanks. --Drm310 (talk) 22:03, 19 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

edit

Hello Austincapobianco. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Sex, Drugs, & Violence (in the Future)".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Sex, Drugs, & Violence (in the Future)}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 22:01, 8 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
