Vernier Scale Edits
editHi, Atry. I just noticed some of the edits you made to the page on Vernier scales. Very interesting! I looked into the references you posted, but I was a bit confused. What part of the technology was invented in ancient China, the calipers, or the two sliding scales with different gradations? It seems to me from the references that it was only the physical portion that was invented in 9 AD, presumably with only a single scale? Any thoughts? JCMPC (talk) 22:07, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
