NPOV Tag on CFC

Hi Athrun, the issue of NPOV has been raised several times on the talk page and it is clear from reading the article and the lack of response that it has not been resolved. As the tag clearly states "Please do not remove this message until the dispute is resolved" then it is essential that it stays until the article is worded from a more neutral viewpoint and referenced with appropriate independent sources. When you removed the tag you used the edit summary "cutting down on some details to streamline the article", this is misleading as the tag is not "excess detail" and removing it is not streamlining the article. Whether it is a "headache" (more to CFC than the readers of the article) is irrelevant, until the issues are resolved and a consensus to remove it is reached then it must stay. 121.218.202.99 (talk) 02:28, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Proposed blackout in protest of RA 10175

Dear Athrun Atreides,

Greetings!

As a Filipino Wikipedian, I hope you are aware of the passage of Republic Act No. 10175, also known as the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, which was signed into law by President Benigno Aquino III on September 12, 2012. Currently, there is a discussion on the Tambayan, the noticeboard for Philippines-related topics, about a proposed blackout of the English Wikipedia in the Philippines in order to protest the passage of RA 10175, similar to the blackout against SOPA and PIPA held earlier this year. I feel that your input on the subject will definitely help in the discussion.

Please feel free to participate in the discussion at Wikipedia talk:Tambayan Philippines#The Cybercrime Prevention Act, and I hope your input will help the Filipino Wikipedia community determine which is the best course of action against this law. Similarly, we hope to get as much input from as many Wikipedians as possible.
