Hello, I am contacting you about your recent additions at the Stavronikita monastery article. At first I would like to sincerely thank you for your interest in the article and the monastery.

However, I should point out that the article is about the monastery as a whole. The stories of individual monks of Stavronikita should be on separate articles, and only briefly mentioned in the main article. To draw a parallel, while Pericles is mentioned in the Athens article, it is only a passing reference ("Athens was also the birthplace of Socrates, Pericles, Sophocles and many other prominent philosophers, politicians and writers of the ancient world") with a link to the main article about Pericles. See also the "summary style" rule of wikipedia.

In the light of the above, perhaps you would like to reconsider your lengthy additions about Theophylactos. I should also point that it is considered inappropriate to add an email as an external link. Needless to say, writing an mail address on such a public place, exposes its owner to all kinds of potentially malicious spammers.

Again, thank you for your interest in the article. Do not hesitate to edit and improve it further, only try to stay on-topic :-) --Michalis Famelis (talk) 17:30, 5 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
