Hello, I'm Anaxial. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Marsupial mole without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.   Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Marsupial mole, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Hello Anaxial, My name is Robert Asher. I am in the process of editing the page on Notoryctes to reflect recent, peer-reviewed research as I have indicated and cited extensively on the edits I have made. Please do not revert my page to the previous version until I have had a chance to finish. What is your name?

Sincerely, Robert Asher

A belated welcome!

Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Asherobert. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! --Animalparty! (talk) 20:04, 7 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your help with Marsupial mole. Since you appear to be an expert in the field, your contributions will likely be of high quality. Please consider reviewing Wikipedia's guidelines and tips on WP:Wikipedia editing for research scientists and WP:Expert editors. Some academics can, even with the best of intentions, run into problems if they do things like: include their own expert opinions or synthesize primary literature to draw novel inferences (a form of original research); unduly promote their own research over others (a form of self-promotion); or write about colleagues and institutions with which they may have a conflict of interest. You might also check out the WikiProject Palaeontology, and pose any issues for discussion at the Talk page. You can also ask me on my Talk page if you have any questions. Lastly, please remember to reply to Talk page comments below the previous comment (ideally indented with one or more colons), to place new Talk sections at the bottom of the page, and to sign your Talk page comments by typing four tildes (e.g. ~~~~). All the best, --Animalparty! (talk) 20:21, 7 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
