Thank you.

The article Greg Kats has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 16:01, 4 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of interest

edit

You have a conflict of interest (COI) in the Gregory Kats article. It also looks like you want to create an article on his company.

Please read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest

While you are not banned from editing articles on Kats and Capital-E, I highly discourage you from doing so. I have helped other people edit articles in which they had a COI. The experience has ranged from the article being removed and the editor banned to very good articles produced. Unfortunately, the majority of the time hasn't been "pleasant". If you do edit, please be very careful. See what COI editors can do. Do not remove tags you may object to unless asking someone else. Please add references to the claims being made, most of "Work" section has no references. The sentence about him testifying before congress is irrelevant. This happens all the time. The exception being if his testimony was highly covered.

Move the contents of you user page to a sandbox. For info on how to create a sandbox, read Wikipedia:About the Sandbox. Having "Advertising or promotion of an individual, business, organization, group, or viewpoint unrelated to Wikipedia (such as commercial sites or referral links)" is not allowed in User pages per WP:USERPAGE and can result in one getting banned.

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Bgwhite (talk) 06:56, 9 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Bgwhite Thanks for your comments. I have removed the contents of the usepage and I will work on adding citations in the work section.
The congressional testimony is notable as it relates directly to controversial political issues including the Solyndra loan controversy and an ongoing, high level US Federal investigation that has become an issue for candidates in the 2012 United States Presidental Election.
I look forward to working with you to improve this article. Aseal (talk) 12:40, 9 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
Ok. Have a good time at reference hunting. Bgwhite (talk) 21:25, 9 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
Sorry for being slow. I removed the COI tag and left a message at Talk:Gregory Kats on the reason why I removed it. Thank you for you help. It was very much appreciated. Bgwhite (talk) 03:20, 17 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
