May 2011

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Sian Powers, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. The reason I made that edit was because everyone has been thrown into a panic over Sacha's RUMORED departure. Nothing has been confirmed or denied by any of the official sources, like the ITV/Coronation Street bosses themselves. Not to mention every news out let grabbed the headlines from people.co.uk a known tabloid which has had wrong on more than one occasion. Asdotnet (talk) 13:15, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

But this is wikipedia. The only person saying rumoured is you. (Maybe more fans are saying it else where.) At present it is a source that is deemed reliable here, because more often than not, they get it right. There are hundreds of stories they print on each day, not just soaps. If it has not been denied by a source, how can you deny it? The Amber stuff seems iffy doesn't it, so we have not gone into detail over the departure, just stated at present there is a source saying, "yes, she is leaving"... If you look at unreliable sources, then twitter, Parkinson tweeted that she is in contract until the end of the year. So she didn't say "I'm not leaving" - rather "don't worry I'm filming until the end of the year"Rain the 1 ^BAM 13:32, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

Amber's store does indeed look iffy. I just find it hard to believe with everything that is going on, especially with how they were so incredibly adamant that the girls were in it for the long term, because they wanted to do it right, that now all of a sudden everything is thrown up in the air, while they have said more than once that they wouldn't split up, or if they DID split up they were still in it for the long haul. Well they are only actors at the end of the day, they probably don't know about long-term plots. They know there scripts, or any storylines the Producers tells them about far in advance. Contracts get renewed and they don't, my exp with all of this is that Soaps are forever changing, they may not have known three weeks ago. I'm not sure if you are familiar with Brian Park and his big cast cull in the ninties, the tabloids announced some departures before the actors even knew. Lol As soon as a ITV source disputes the source, then it can be removed, okay? :) (Quick question, will you be editing Sian more, her article is a real mess.)Rain the 1 ^BAM 14:04, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

Yeah. it's a bit of a situation. But it's weird though because Sacha and Brooke both knew WAY before it was brought out that they were heading into the lesbian storyline. It's just a shame that they would fall into the same 'not doing a lesbian storyline justice after all they've been through'... despite being a soap. It's stereotypical and I don't like it. Esp because Corrie actually IS one of the better Soaps when it comes to story telling. Yes. I do plan on editing both the Sian/Sacha/Sophie/Brooke pages because they are a total mess on there. lol Asdotnet (talk) 14:29, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
