Lake Baikal and uranium reprocessing edit

It appears that your information on the proposed plant near Lake Baikal does not belong in Uranium mining, because it does not directly involve mining. Instead of trying to fit a square peg into a round hole, why not just put the information in either Nuclear reprocessing or Radioactive waste? Plazak (talk) 22:38, 21 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

To answer this -the proposed plant directly involves Uranium mining User:Artivist

The documentation that you provided so far says otherwise. Plazak (talk) 13:22, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Rather than put info on the proposed reprocessing plant in the Siberian Tiger article, where it does not belong, why don't you put it in the Lake Baikal article, where it does belong? Plazak (talk) 22:57, 22 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

In answer to Siberian Tiger A direct threat to the Siberian Tiger - pollution from uranium mining, milling etc; logging - loss of habitat; new roads leading to increased poaching User:Artivist

Then cite the document that says that uranium mining threatens the siberian tiger. Plazak (talk) 13:22, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Image:Siberian tiger.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on Image:Siberian tiger.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:Siberian tiger.jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of File:APictorialViewoftheLakesNuclearSacrificeZone.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:APictorialViewoftheLakesNuclearSacrificeZone.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
