Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Floyd Vivino, you will be blocked from editing. NJZombie (talk) 00:58, 18 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

By no means an expert on Uncle Floyd. Just a fan. This was pre-existing information here on wikipedia before I ever even came across the article. Blanking out sections of information that is backed up by an existing website already is deemed vandalism here, especially if you don't give reasons in summary as to why it's being blanked out. I'm not exactly sure how a paragraph that, if anything, promotes his performances that are advertised on the establishment's own website is interfering with an "off night" but I have no personal issue with you or leaving that information blank from now. That doesn't mean that another person can't or won't simply add it back in themselves. That's something you'll have to take up directly with wikipedia if it persists. If you want something to not be shared, this would be the page to read in regards to what to do about it. Wikipedia:FAQ/Article subjects Simply removing the info without a reason given will only result in somebody putting it back eventually and possibly getting you banned from making ANY changes or updates. Be well! NJZombie (talk) 01:27, 18 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • I see, as I suspected, somebody else decided to put the information back on Floyd's page and that you commented on PeterSymonds‎' page about it. My suggestion is to just remain vigilant about it. Even if it's removed and stays that way for a year, somebody else could always decide to put it back. Also, if what you say is true about Floyd not playing there every Tuesday night, you may want to ask the restaurant to change the calendar of events on their website as it claims that he does. As long as it says he does, people are always going to have "proof" that he does and use it for backup when posting the info here. Best of luck! NJZombie (talk) 16:50, 23 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
