Catalan-speaking world edit

Thanks for the message. I think you are finding, or looking for, difficulties where there are none. The box does not say "Catalonia", or even "Catalan lands", it says "Catalan-speaking world". This does not in any sense imply that Valencia is a part of Catalonia, but it is clearly a part of the Catalan-speaking world, as are Andorra, Alguer, and Catalunya Nord. Therefore, I do not see anything controversial in this information box. --Bcnviajero (talk) 15:38, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re: Catalan speaking box edit

Hi, Arthur. Yes, you can check in the history of the template that myself and other contributors have tried to do some improvements during last weeks. Notice that now the template is collapsible and it has smaller font, which makes it better from a technical point of view. As regards to the content now it fits better in Valencian culture related entries (the order of AVL and IEC has been inverted, it links to the history of the Kingdom of Valencia, Moros i Cristians, Bonfires of Alacant, Moixeranga, and to the artists Sorolla and Calatrava, as well). --Carles Noguera (talk) 15:58, 20 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi Arthur, I agree in that the so-called infobox is more like an disinfobox...anyway, there is an opinions exchange (not sure myself about what exactly ;) [1]. It is not directly related to you, but you may want to be aware of it. Stay tuned. Mountolive le déluge 17:11, 26 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I see that you've connected with someone who can help out. - I have no experience or pull with that WikiProject. Good luck. Carlossuarez46 (talk) 18:12, 13 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
