Not sure what's going on but...

I'm trying to figure out why an Adopter would hijack the Adoptees user page and post a mirror image of his own user page. (Or something very close there of.) Not only that, but take the time to self award the page as "The Userpage Barnstar, For having such a good userpage, you are hereby awarded with the Excellent User Page Award. Good job!". So how about let's hear the real story from both parties involved. So far it seems something fishy seems to be going on and it's not really clear who is the victim, culprit, or if are both guilty of something. Even more suspicious is the fact that every award on Highfeilds own awards page is also self appointed I don't see anyone else making any other contributions to your pages to grant any awards. Highfields, you demand truth from Arothi, I think you've got some explaining to do yourself!

In my opinion, it's nothing more complicated than that they both acted their age; and they seem to have learned something here about how to act or not act on the internet. I recommend just dropping the whole thing (other than oversighting personal details; if any are still left on past page revisions). Oh, and "the real story" would likely involve yet more personal details, so let's not go down that road. WAS 4.250 17:18, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
