Place of birth Era Istrefi

edit

Hi. Why I appreciate your sentiment in wanting to change Era Istrefi's place of birth, there is a specific and agreed rule at work here. In this case, we need to put the name of the country in the infobox, as it was when the individual was born. Not what it is now or has been in the past. To illustrate this, Maria Sharapova is Russian, but at the time of her birth (1987) this was the Soviet Union. And you see this in the infobox. Hope this clears it up.Karst (talk) 12:39, 16 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Karst , as u can see at Maria Sharpova's birthplace info box you can clearly see that there is Russian in some place, Nyagan, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union < Which in case of era istrefi you clearly hide that she was born in KOSOVO, a place an autonomus state , aslong as you keep reverting it to only yougoslavia which is not right, i`ll revert it back aslong as there is reached an agreement towards users to not hide the "Kosovo" Part, since it butthurts so many serbians or pro-serbian people that it causes changes back and forth. Thanks for taking on notice asfar as it gets let's hope and see forward!
