A tag has been placed on BBC Radio Survey, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

This whole article appears to be nonsense. As far as I know, no such thing exists and there are no links to verify it. The article is badly written and nonsensical. It looks very much like an inept hoax, although the author clearly knows their Wiki markups

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. DanielRigal 02:44, 10 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of BBC Radio Survey

edit

I've nominated BBC Radio Survey, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that BBC Radio Survey satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/BBC Radio Survey and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of BBC Radio Survey during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. mattbr 21:59, 12 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did to Ruth Becker, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --DanielRigal 19:56, 13 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hoax articles

edit

Please do not create hoaxes, such as you did in the article Titanic Hotel. Please do not attempt to put misinformation into Wikipedia to test our ability to detect and remove it. This has been done before, with varying results. Most hoaxes are marked for deletion within a few hours after they are created. Some Wikipedians suspect that the majority of hoaxes here are attempts to test the system. Kindly — do not disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method is to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia, and then to check to see how long they have been in place and, if possible, correct them.
