Hi Arfa, I see that you have completed the Wikipedia training, posted an article to work on, and have selected an image. You should start by identifying EXACTLY what you want to do to improve the article on Racism, for example what it's missing, or could be improved upon etc. Remember to read the Talk page that already exists for the article, this will give you a good indication of areas that are identified to improve, and also areas you might want to steer clear from, since we want to avoid areas of contestation on Wikipedia for this assignment. Focus on finding something manageable to do, and be sure to look at your peer's current pages, this will help to focus your contributions.

You might consider simply adding references, copyediting an existing paragraph (or two) that already exists, or creating a paragraph that deals specifically with instances of various kinds of racism. I would strongly advise you to make use of the assigned course text as it gives a comprehensive outline of various forms of racism, and examples of how racism operates in society (formally and informally) and also specific examples of racism in society, law, cultural prejudices and stereotypes. Use sources from our syllabus, this will also help you study for the final examination in our course. If you are worried about the coding, write your assignment in a word document, and then you and I can meet on Thursday and work on transferring your information to Wikipedia.
