I've noticed that your contributions look like copy and paste dumps of other web pages. This really isn't appropriate. They need to be written as encylcopedia articles (and formatted reasonably, see the manual of style) even if there is permission to use the content of the other pages, and almost no pages elsewhere are so formatted. If you do have the permission, please follow the process at Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission so that we can document the permission to use the other pages text. Also note that pages on organisms require a taxobox, which shows the varying levels the species is classified at. The full details can be found at WP:TX, and the classification itself (i.e. order, family, genus etc) can be found using the ITIS website. Kare Kare 07:14, 17 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Neutral point of view debate concerning Spotted wolffish

edit

Hi, I've added a photo of Spotted wolffish to the article (and a taxobox), which you originally created. On reading the article I find the sections regarding conservation and threats are a biased around Canadian affairs and not the global threats and conservation status of the species. Also THREATENED appears several times in upper-case letters, which i find is non-neutral. It is not something I am very proficient in and know much about, but I have added a template asking for the NPOV to be checked and I have written a section regarding my observations with some additional references on the articles talk page. I do not want to mess around with the contents of the article page though, as I am not a native speaker and. Just thought you would like to know. -- Slaunger (talk) 07:53, 22 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
