Fabian Gottlieb von Bellingshausen and Mikhail Lazarev makes zero notes of seeing any "ice shelf" on the 28th. They do make note of getting stopped by the pack though. If he discovered it on this day he would have no need to return the following southern summer to try to find it again. Nice try though Apexdale (talk) 09:30, 5 March 2024 (UTC)
