Discussions Welcome! Student of Mechanical Engineering at Iowa State University. Updated article for Technical Communication class.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Let me know if you have any questions about how things work here. Actually I don't know anything about ceramic engineering, and I only altered that article to remove spam links that someone had put on a lot of engineering articles. Thanks for your message though, and I hope your work here goes well. Also, when you leave a message on someone's talk page, you should put it on the bottom, not the top. Hi,

First of all welcome to Wikipedia. I hope you'll contribute to it for a long time to come. I've read over the article of Ceramic Engineering. Although, I do have some experience in the field, I'm not a Ceramics expert, so I can't comment too much on content. I did notice some formatting issues that are likely to be fixed automagically by the Wikipedian community. You'll find that people will edit your article and change it in a way you had not expected. Articles on Wikipedia are a group effort and can not be attributed to a person (I have removed your signature from the article as per Wikipedia policy WP:OWN. I hope this is not an issue for your teacher. You might want to read the following articles to get you started/further:

To name but a few.

On to the content. The article seems to focus on the US. It would be nice to do some research on history of ceramics and development of ceramics outside the US and see if you can improve the article in that direction. Hope this helps. ʍαμ$ʏ5043 18:29, 17 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
