Skincage edit

Skincage has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt the subject might not be notable enough for an article. Please review WP:MUSIC for the relevant guidelines. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.

If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the prod notice, the article may be deleted without further discussion. NickelShoe 20:47, 8 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for leaving me a message. I'm not actually the person who submitted this article for deletion. I just saw that it was on the list, and thought you'd want to know about it.
Since it was deleted thru prod, you can have it immediately restored, but keep in mind that if the band doesn't meet the notability standards at WP:MUSIC, it will likely be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion for discussion.
To find out who carried out the deletion of the article, you can click on the redlink. Then there's a place that suggests you check the deletion log. The deletion log says who deleted it (User:RobertG) and why (WP:PROD was uncontested for five days). If you think this band is important to be in Wikipedia, send User:RobertG a message explaining that. (Make sure this time to sign your message with ~~~~--a lot of people don't like going thru the trouble to check the page history to figure out who's talking to them.) This deletion process is pretty new, so if he thinks he's not supposed to restore the article, refer him to WP:PROD#Closing_guideline_for_administrators. Or let me know.
If you have the article restored, please take care to show how it meets Wikipedia notability standards to keep it from getting deleted again. If it's deleted thru AfD, it will probably stay deleted, but you will have a chance to explain your case while it's being discussed. NickelShoe (Talk) 13:17, 16 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

C-3PO edit

What's with your weird edits to C-3PO? Being a machine, sexual categories just don't apply; even gender is an arbitary setting in his programming. --maru (talk) contribs 06:36, 16 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
