Hello Antoine, and thank you for your message. I did indeed spot your edit to a Gibraltar-related page and noticed you hadn't been welcomed to the English Wikipedia yet. I tend to use {{w-graphical}}, a modified version of the traditional {{Welcome}}, to welcome new contributors. It is simply intended to provide useful links and tips for new users. You are, of course, free to remove it if you so wish.
Au fait, je n'ai pas été élu sysop de la Wikipédia anglophone mais je suis fier d'être au poste d'administrateur de Commons. N'hésite pas à me contacter si tu as besoin d'aide. Merci ! Chris.B (talk) 16:07, 10 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Time_(computing) for DOS edit

Hola Antoine.

Well I do not remember what you say for DOS, will check software interrupts a.s.a.p. However, remember that different DOS variants can use different schema (PC-DOS, MS-DOS, DR-DOS, PTS-DOS, so on).

But, what I can assure you, is that, FAT filesystem handles up to 128 years (from 1980) and resolution is 1/2 second, and standard for an IBM PC RTC chip if I'm not wrong is 1/100th of a second (pre-RTC IBM PCs did not store time so you have to set it at boot).

Please for any comment say it directly to me via email as I do not check my wikipedia user as used to.
