I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Speedy deletion nomination of Vanja Stanišić edit

Hello Annabelleigh,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Vanja Stanišić for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Sourov0000 (talk) 22:27, 10 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Annabelleigh, I did go ahead and delete that article. While I understand the point that you put on the article's talk page, at the moment, that's just your personal opinion. Now, if there are reliable sources that discuss the person in detail, particularly the ethnicity issue that you've mentioned, then that could demonstrate notability. However, we need more than just a Wikipedia editor's assertion of importance. Qwyrxian (talk) 23:06, 11 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
