Ongula-yaNetanga village

Ongula-yaNetanga is a village at the end of Ondonga in Ohangwena region in Ondonga traditional authority by the king Mr Elifas Kauluma and his adviser Mr Petrus Shimwefeleni Kauluma. Mr Kauluma is the headman of Ongula-yaNetanga, governed by Mr Usko Nghaamwa. Ongula village was located in Oshana region those year back, and in 2001, it was located in to Ohangwena region.

The name Ongula-yaNetanga is a combination of the morning and the name of a young man known well Netanga who was living in that area for a long time ago who usually use to search water for his cattle. This man use to live the house early in the morning and return home during the night.

Ongula-yaNetanga is located 7km from Oshigambo and 25km from Ondangwa.There are 10 combined schools include the school that named after the late Anglican Bishop Mr James Kauluma, and 5 primary schools.

At Ongula, there is a homestead lodge that was opened officially by the prime minister honorable Mr Nahas Angula on the 26 August 2012.
