Trouble with the NICE gadget

edit

The installation should complete even if you are installing in a new account. I see that you've done the manual installation and got it working, but I am interested in fixing the problem that you ran into. Could you tell me the operating system and browser (with version please) you used when you tried to install. --EpochFail (talk) 20:36, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Also, make sure you refresh your cache (Ctrl+F5) as well to make sure the new script gets picked up.  :) Thanks for giving the tool a try! --EpochFail (talk) 20:37, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

I just did an update of the code that addressed some of the bugs and (embarrassing) typos. See my talk page for a line-by-line. --EpochFail (talk) 15:58, 3 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

We just finished the Captcha functionality in the installer. :D --EpochFail (talk) 18:43, 3 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Reverted your revision 294027919 to User:Anguy/Sandbox

NICE interface modification: We need more users!

edit

Hello. I am one of the developers of the NICE tool and the related study's contact person. I hope you have been finding the modification helpful so far. We have been gathering users for a little over a month now, but we haven't gotten as many users as we had hoped. We'd appreciate it if you would share the NICE tool with any editors that might find it useful. --EpochFail (talk|contribs) 16:39, 29 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Full version of NICE to be released

edit

Thanks for helping me and my colleagues test the NICE interface modification. Depending on when you installed the tool, you were only presented with a specific subset of the features we have developed. We are ready to roll out the full feature set which, we expect, will make the gadget significantly more useful. Before we do that, we'd like you to answer a few questions about your activity in Wikipedia as it relates to undoing other's edits and what you thought of the NICE features you were shown.

The survey will ask for your Wikipedia username, but you can participate anonymously if you choose. To do so, send me an email with an address I can respond to and I will have the survey software respond with an anonymous token for you to continue. --EpochFail (talk|contribs) 17:53, 24 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
