Orphaned non-free media (Image:Spider-man new-animated-series-season-1-in3D.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Spider-man new-animated-series-season-1-in3D.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:28, 7 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Matchmaking (series) edit

A tag has been placed on Matchmaking (series) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. • You didn't cite any sources showing this series' notability per WP:WEB and WP:V. We can't just take your word that the subject i "very popular on YouTube". NawlinWiki (talk) 00:17, 4 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

April 2012 edit

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Men in Black 3. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. MikeWazowski (talk) 01:10, 9 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

You were correct on which season American Dad is in edit

As it turns out, you were completely and totally correct as to what season American Dad is in. The show is in season 8 and will be in season 9 next year. I even found some legitimate sources, one of which comes from the creators themselves: [1] and here [2] (<--- this one says that in September 2012 during the eighth season, the creators were working ahead for the following season which would be the 9th season in 2013-14). So you were right. My apologies. As per the debate, we now have legit sources. By the way, I have found some more legit sources in Google Books. AmericanDad86 (talk) 22:19, 14 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for June 24 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited SpongeBob SquarePants (season 9), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Posthumous (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
