Angel Desouza (talk) 00:28, 24 August 2015 (UTC) Language simplified She has been promoting Hindi language through theatre and taking Hindi classes. Some of the classes were also taken by well known Poet, Dr. Bhavna Kunwar. Removed for now till citation approved. Angel Desouza (talk) 00:28, 24 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Angel Desouza (talk) 01:24, 24 August 2015 (UTC) Instead of saying 'As of 2013 the school reported having trained over 200 people in dance and theatre arts.[1] we don't find this very appropriate, as we have involved so many artists not necessarily trained. Would request you to delete this line if possible.Reply

'Every year Abhinay presents a festival of Hindi plays' from the same report could be used as citation for promoting and nurturing Hindi language.

Angel Desouza (talk) 01:52, 24 August 2015 (UTC) For this line, From plays written during the workshop, 'Quarantine' written by Neena Badhawar, directed by Arvind Gaur, starring Aishveryaa Nidhi and Ishwak Singh was Abhinay School's first entry as an Independent Theatre Company for the inaugural New Delhi Short and Sweet festival in 2010.[citation needed]Reply

Only citation which I could find online at this stage is http://www.indiandownunder.com.au/2010/11/short-sweet-debut-in-delhi/ as you know publications keep removing old stories. Since Neena Badhwar is also the writer of the play as well the publisher, if you think this is not appropriate, we don't mind removing it Angel Desouza (talk) 01:52, 24 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

I have used the source from The Leader per your suggestion, but the word "nurture" is a WP:PEACOCK word and is inappropriate for a Wikipedia article. Article's should be written in neutral language, see WP:NPOV if you do not understand what I mean by this.
I restored the phrase about the number of people trained because it's the only indication of the organization's size and scope in the article. The article should provide context to people unfamiliar with your organization, flattering or not. The article is currently very vague, and additional sources should be found. I have also explained this on the article's talk page, which is a better place to continue this discussion. Grayfell (talk) 02:17, 24 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Angel Desouza (talk) 05:56, 24 August 2015 (UTC) I am sorry, I should have read it properly. Playwright Alex Broun has conducted play-writing workshops with the school specially for the Indian community, I would like to add the word specially here, as his workshops are not restricted to Indian Community. Many Australians of different origins and different age groups have attended his workshops at Abhinay School. Youngest playwright being 13 year old Arohi Tanawade and oldest being 70 years old (Kamal Kakwani, writer of Delayed Epitaph, produced in Hindi as Vibhajan) Abhinay School conducts classes workshops for young and adults alike.Reply

In 'Performances'category we are talking about only first workshops's outcome -Indradhanush. Before Abhinay's play 'Quarantine ' was selected to be performed in Top 100 in Short+Sweet 2011, we did 'Moved play readings' of 10 plays written in the workshop conducted by Alex Broun. Play Readings were performed at Newtown Theatre, now known as King Street Theatre. Abhinay presented two days celebration of'Hindi Diwas' in Sydney Fringe Festival 2012. Opening with 'Gandhari...in search of light,. To involve the multicultural audience, The play was in Hindi with sur-titles in English. And showcasing another set of ten plays in Hindi the next day at King Street Theatre 9http://www.artnewsportal.com/art-news/indian-drama-festival-in-sydney-fringe 'Abhinay Utsav' to celebrate 'Hindi Diwas' in 2013 at Hurstville Civic Centre (http://www.theleader.com.au/story/1121856/play-explores-dark-themes/) And 'Abhinay Shorts' to celebrate 'Hindi Diwas' in 2014 presenting ten plays at Shopfront Theatre (http://publictelegraph.com/abhinay-shorts-much-appreciated-by-multicultural-audience/) All these festivals were to celebrate 'Hindi Diwas', promote the language and provide an opportunity to youth to use the language in an interesting platform and have fun speaking their mother tongue, India's National language.
