Dear Andrew,

On deletion of your article Anthony Morone: First of all, it is not a fictional character. It is somebody's nickname. Secondly, have a look at Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion. Your article indeed meets multiple criteria: A7 (an article about a person with no claim of note), A6 (attack page), and arguably even G1 (patent nonsense). Wikipedia is supposed to be an encyclopedia, and your article has simply no place here. Please don't recreate it.

I agree that the John Titor article needs to be rewritten. He is a crackpot, but he seems to be a notable one. Your article was just nonsense about an Internet poster who did nothing of note. ("Going to the movies all the time", "making fun of people on the Internet", and being interested in "hardcore music, lifting weights, video games, and thick chicks with big tits" are NOT notable achievements. Nor is your unsourced and unverified claim that he had almost swallowed his semen, and it wouldn't be even if it were sourced and verified.) Have a look at Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not before creating any more articles.

I have no personal vendetta against Anthony Morone, and no fascination John Titor. I am just following Wikipedia policies and guidelines. (And I have no desire to delete the Holocaust article. This is not - should somebody make such a claim - because I am a Nazi; I am not. It is because it is a highly notable event of the world's history.) Your article made no claim of notability or significance (not to mention other problems it had), and such articles are subject to immediate deletion. Again, before you make any more complaints, please have a look at the pages I have linked. - Mike Rosoft 15:53, 6 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for File:FRY46.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:FRY46.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 23:12, 6 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
