Link placement edit
The removal of links placed across wiki has nothing to do with the commercials aims or not of the website. It is about whether it is appropriate for Wikipedia & whether the placement of the links looks planned or excessive. In practice both myself and another editor agreed that the links you were placing were unnecessary. The report may be found here - link placement across wikis is monitored.
