Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Acroterion (talk) 23:40, 25 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Requested username:

Request reason:

I understand the reason for blocking my account and I want to change my user name from the name of an organisation to the new user name. Also if I will receive any compensation for my contributions I will disclose it. I intend to contribute by articles in the field of education

Decline reason:

No. Your inappropriate edit was in the field of education. You appear to have a conflict of interest and haven't convinced me you have read WP:COI, let alone will comply with it. Yamla (talk) 12:04, 26 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

My account was blocked because I have used a name of organisation as my username and I didn't know that is not allowed. Now, I want to change my username and I really no understand why my request is declined. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amaquen (talkcontribs)

Please reread WP:COI. --Yamla (talk) 12:34, 26 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

It seems that there is a misunderstanding regarding the blocking of my page. The reason is not the conflict of interest but the use of an organization's name as a username. To solve this problem I changed my username. So I don't understand why you are talking to me about a conflict of interest.

You are confused. Your username was only one small part of the reason you were blocked. Once again, please read the policies and guidelines we've linked you to. --Yamla (talk) 12:48, 26 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

No, I am not confused and the reason is promotional username as you can read in the following text I received from wikipedia: "Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.".

See the "and" bit there? WP:IDHT applies here, I won't be responding further. --Yamla (talk) 13:10, 26 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

How arrogant, I'm really shocked at your attitude. You don't want to understand that I am an individual and not an organization and that my only flaw is that I used an organization name as my username. While you talk to me about conflict of interest.
