edit warring

edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on White privilege. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. -- The Red Pen of Doom 12:01, 24 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for edit-warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Reviewing adminstrators: Note that this user has been conducting this edit-war both with this account and as User:97.91.174.0. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 12:07, 24 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have requested that FisherQueen reconsider your block. If you feel that you are willing to edit within Wikipedia guidelines, you may wish to follow the instructions above to request an unblock yourself. However, using "logic" such as "I am always right" probably won't be given much weight ;-) -- The Red Pen of Doom 12:50, 24 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
I got your message, Red, and I'm willing to assume a little good faith. If this user's willing to promise to discuss desired changes on the talk page, and only make the changes once consensus is reached, I'm willing to unblock. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 16:05, 24 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

White privilege

edit

You appear to have an interest in the article White privilege, which is currently in a pretty poor state, as you can see by the tags at the top of the article. However, because it is a topic of political nature, it is a touchy article to edit. If you are someone who has easy access to academic reliable sources, you may wish to start a user sub page (WP:USERSUBPAGE) and begin working on a well sourced draft of a new version of the article. When you are at a point where you think the article is pretty good you can invite other editors to comment and improve your draft. When you have the consensus of a number of editors that the new verision is better than the existing version, the new version can be moved to replace the old version. -- The Red Pen of Doom 12:19, 24 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
