Proposed deletion of Davis Granados

edit

The article Davis Granados has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication of notability

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 20:57, 10 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Further to the notice above: A Google News search for "Davis Granados" "Atletico Chiriqui" yielded 2 hits (see here) both of which basically said that Davis went onto the field to play - and no more details about him. A Google Web search for the same yielded 15 hits (see here) - and of those, most are either wiki articles or blog articles.

To prevent the article being deleted, you really need to show why he is notable, using citations from reliable independent sources.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me! Regards, -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 20:57, 10 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
