Encyclopædia Britannica

edit

Hi there, the inclusion of that section on Hinduism is currently being discussed on the article talk page, I didn't remove it by accident. Tim Vickers (talk) 17:58, 1 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

My information is full proof. It is Tim Vickers who has to confirm it. Well, then confirm it for yourself but don't change the article. You have been given enough information, and if needed, contact Encyclopædia Britannica directly. What you have not done is that you have not checked the validity of Dhawan's critique qualitatively. You can talk to any Hindu scholar or historian about the claims that Dhawan has made and they would confirm that EB has committed a blunder. Check the online version of Britannica [1] to check the quoted text in Dhawan's critique. Anybody with a sound knowledge of Hinduism could verify the claims in Dhawan's article . Even EB has agreed to it. Tim Vickers, are you a Hindu scholar? What experiment you have conducted on Dhawan's critique that you have crossed the addition out. The previous version is being redone. Please verify your claims before you make a change. You have any authority in this regard to have the final word. Google "Amit Raj Dhawan" and find out the effect of this article. Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 20:49, 1 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring

edit

Warning

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly, as you are doing at Parvati. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. Yworo (talk) 05:15, 6 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
