This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to Cairo. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. Elockid (Talk·Contribs) 15:59, 26 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

October 26 2009. My edits on the page Cairo were true reliable information, unlike the info that you have put there. Please STOP deleting the TRUE info that i have edited there and on other pages.
edit here IS vandalism because you are were further helping in falsifying the source. The climate chart was already vandalized and you didn't help at all and instead further vandalized the chart by adding incorrect information. There was some values there that match the source but you changed them. Persistently changing sourced information can be considered as vandalism. Also what about [this edit? You were changing sourced numbers without explanation at all. This is vandalism. You have been sufficiently warned about these vandalism edit. Any more edits like those will likely result in you being blocked. Elockid (Talk·Contribs) 21:35, 26 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

You'll have to ask Meeso/Mayasara about Bedford, because he/she reverted that edit and gave you a warning about it. Two other editors reverted your edits. I just reverted the Cairo article. You may also want to discuss this with the editors who placed warnings. But if you think that the information in the Cairo article is false, you must add a new reference to back up your claims. Make sure that it is verifiable (WP:VERIFY) and reliable (WP:RELIABLE). Again, changing numbers without explanation to sourced data does not seem very constructive, this seems to be the reason for the multiple warnings by other editors.

Other than seemingly vandalism like edits to the climate charts, the data you added might also be original research. Wikipedia policy strongly discourages original research per WP:OR. Citing information has been a method of trying to prevent original research. You also mentioned to me that you were studying meteorology. This could be a conflict of interest (WP:COI) when you add information because this is a topic you're involved in. Elockid (Talk·Contribs) 16:05, 27 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

  • User All Bj, if you want to provide new information regarding whatever subject in wikipedia, you must provide reliable sources first and mention these sources in the page you're editing. Please do not accuse me of being a vandal; I am only reverting your edits because of the above mentioned reason. You received your last warning regarding changing data and information without providing new sources and providing your neutral point of view in the respective talk pages; if you do it again, you will be blocked from editing in wikipedia. Thank you, Maysara (talk) 19:55, 27 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
So just some tips before I get started. It seems that you wanted to indent on my talk page. On talk pages, in order to indent, you add this symbol, ":" before your message. This will automatically indent your message. Also, don't forget to add this after each comment on any talk page. "~~~~". This way other editors know who wrote a comment.
To answer your concerns about editing. On potentially controversial information or information that a person may dispute, it is always a good idea to cite a reliable source. You may easily cite a source by using the tool called "refTools". In order to activate this tool, you need to go to "My preferences" and scroll down to the "Editing gadgets" section. Click on "refTools". Scroll down to the bottom and press Save. When you want to use this tool, simply click the edit tab. On the row of buttons on top of the edit screen, you'll see the button {{cite}} and click it. You'll have several options to put your information in. After putting all the information you know about the source (cite as much info about the source as possible), click add citation. This will produce a citation for you. Be sure to place this in the passage where the source pertains to. So when you want to add a piece of information, be sure to add a source to go with that piece of information.
Adding references will make it less likely that other editors will revert you because you have proof supporting your claims. However, there are times that other editors don't agree with the source and instead revert your edits anyway. This can be one of two reasons. Either the source was not very reliable, information about this can be checked on WP:RELIABLE or they still think that the information is disputed. The best way to approach this then is to seek consensus on the talk page of the article or have a discussion to the editor who reverted your edits. See WP:CONSENSUS. This is one of the core principals for Wikipedia. If either editor continues to revert each others' edits and little or no discussion is involved in remedying the problem, this can be seen as edit warring, and is grounds for blocking. See WP:3RR.
Editing gets easier once you get the hang of it. If you still have any questions, concerns, or need help with something, feel free to message me back. Elockid (Talk·Contribs) 20:20, 27 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 07:23, 27 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Warning for vandalism

edit

User:All Bj, once more, your last edits in article Bedford were reverted. You provided no references for the text you added. You were given by other editors lots of advice and assistance regarding how to edit in Wikipedia, you have been provided with numerous links to assist you in the editing process, you were warned sufficiently; therefore you leave me with no other option but to report you to an administrator intervention against vandalism with the first similar vandal edit you do again.
