Apologies, I was not at all careful with my reference. Hillary talks about meeting the team for the first time in Nepal, and not being part of it until the late, so I assumed the Snowdon trip was just a citation needed rumour. But I checked and saw the team meeting happened in 1951, so I guess it is possible. AlexsandraSmart (talk) 09:30, 5 July 2012 (UTC)

No issue, its esoteric knowledge to some extent. I was lucky enough to spend a significant part of my life in and around Pen-y-Pass so those photographs and the stories were very familiar. ----Snowded ^TALK 11:06, 5 July 2012 (UTC)
