Willie Mason edit

Hi - just wondering what you see as a revertable problem with my edits to the Willie Mason article, particularly in grammar, updates etc. Don't want to get into an edit conflict, but that article definitely needs a copy-edit to bring it up to an encyclopedic standard. As for the 'Move away from the Bulldogs' section, it appears as though bits have been added on with no effort to make the section readable. En-dash seems to be a continuing issue. If you would like to refer to WP:DASH, you can see WP:MOS recommendations on this point. I'm happy to hear your thoughts at the Willie Mason Discussion page and work to better this article. ~ Florrie talk 12:17, 14 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Red Dawn revert edit

Hey, just thought I should let you know that I think you made a good call here, I'll support you on this if he tries it again. Also you might like to show him that we actually removed the rather rubbish "trivia" section here, and that what he tried to delete was actually "production notes". Do you think we should remove that trivia tag? Ryan4314 (talk) 01:34, 31 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'll remove it if you back me up yea? (in case we get any stick) Ryan4314 (talk) 02:13, 31 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Rugby players edit

Why have you replaced the {{height}} and {{weight}} templates with manual conversions in almost every rugby player's article? You should have replaced them with the {{convert}} template. Please do so. – PeeJay 18:24, 6 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Just have a look at Template talk:convert, and also at the edits I've just made to Morgan Stoddart, Filo Tiatia, Nathan Brew and Hale T-Pole. That should give you all the help you need, but if you have any other concerns, please get back to me. – PeeJay 18:39, 6 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes you did that too with Worcester Warriors —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mikerevill (talkcontribs) 22:24, 7 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Erm, you seem to be back to your old ways. Please reinstate the {{convert}} template on all the articles you have removed it from. – PeeJay 23:16, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think you will find that "lb" is the standard abbreviation for "pounds", and should not be pluralised when abbreviated, just like "kg" should not be converted to "kgs". Regional preferences have nothing to do with this. Pluralisation of units is wrong. – PeeJay 23:39, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Please stop reverting changes to the infoboxes. You are seeking to impose your personal view against the recommendations of the MOS and undoing the good work of a lot of people. If you have an issue, discuss it on the Rugby Union project page and seek a consensus. Jimmy Pitt (talk) 00:48, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Kearnan Myall edit

Sorry I missed that. Thanks for catching it. --Tony Sidaway 15:02, 7 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Working together edit

What would you do to make {{Infobox Rugby biography}} clearer? Is it the syntax used, or the display format? --Bob (talk) 00:05, 15 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I need specifics as to why it is less clear. It displays the same information and is similar to other infoboxes such as those for countries and monarchs. What makes it less clear? You can reply here. --Bob (talk) 00:14, 15 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
