MBAs w/o borders

edit

Do you have any questions about how to mark-up the page to do things? Let me know. I'll help if I can. Cheers, Flyguy649talkcontribs 06:08, 11 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I was wondering if you could help me so it doesn't say that it uses too many buzzwords? Specifically what words I should change + sentance structure. As well, any other overall help with the article would be much appreciated.

Hi there. Sorry, I was writing my reply while you were writing yours. Welcome (again) to Wikipedia. We all started out a new users at one point, so no worries. First off, I tagged the page with the {{buzzwords}} template because it some buzzwords, such as "nations of interest", in it which (I feel) detracts from the article. I'll remove the tag (all you have to do is remove it in the edit window), but I suggest trying to define terms and use plain language as much as possible. Also an article is better if you have independent, third part sources (see WP:ATT). Otherwise, label it as a stub. You can also improve it by wikilinking terms by placing [[ ]] around words that you want to link. I did a couple earlier (eg. Canadian linking to Canada by using [[Canada|Canadian]]). In this example, the link is to one word, but what is displayed is another. I'll also fix the website link for you. Let me know if you have more questions, but I'm heading to bed soon. Oh, one other thing. It's helpful if you sign your talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~) to leave your username and a datestamp, like at the end of this post. Regards, Flyguy649talkcontribs 06:39, 11 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hey thanks a lot. I will try and clean up some of the abstract terms. (Aleinwan 06:42, 11 April 2007 (UTC)) I hope that worked! Thank you again for your help.Reply

No problem. One tiny thing is capitalisation in headings. Only capitalise the first word unless it's a proper noun (e.g. History and people). The Manual of Style has lots on things like that. I'll also tag it as a stub quickly. Flyguy649talkcontribs 06:45, 11 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
Check that. I put a hidden message on the page requesting it not be nominated for deletion (since it's unsourced). It's a bit long for a stub. Flyguy649talkcontribs 06:52, 11 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks ! I appreciate it. I will see if I can link up with some third-party sources. (Aleinwan 06:54, 11 April 2007 (UTC))Reply

I made some minor changes to the lead and moved the picture to a box. You may want to try to incorporate references in to the article a bit more, but it's looking better. Flyguy649talkcontribs 22:02, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Mwblogologo.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Mwblogologo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 07:18, 9 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of MBAs Without Borders

edit

The article MBAs Without Borders has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article of parent company was deleted, leading me here. This article seems poorly sourced and showing no evidence of notability, apart from references to an Alumni magazine. Considering I've removed several broken links I thought I shouldn't try and speedy delete this, but it has not been improved for over 6 years and I think has reached its time to go. Fails WP:GNG and WP:NCORP.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
