PSM North America

edit

A tag has been placed on PSM North America, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of PSM North America and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Kyle1278 (talk) 21:19, 16 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on List of bioplastic producers. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. NJGW (talk) 23:53, 16 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of PSM North America

edit

A tag has been placed on PSM North America, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. You placed the hangon tag, but didn't make your case at the talk page. Are you planning to do so? NJGW (talk) 00:12, 17 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Already done. Please respond to the talk page on the article.

I had answered some of your questions about notability on the talk page, including giving links to wp:WAX and pointing out that the two articles you mentioned assert notability (they do need better sourcing, but that's not criteria for speedy deletion). Let me know if you have any questions or need help with anything. Some people end up thinking Wikipedia or its editors want to suppress some ideas, but the truth is that it's just very important to make sure articles are worth keeping... so the criteria are strict to keep out the cruft. One thing Wikipedia is not is a business directory. NJGW (talk) 05:37, 17 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
If you want to work on the article to see if you can get it up to article worthy form, ask someone like Stifle to "userfy" it to a sandbox for you, or just create User:Albertoeba/PSM North America yourself and work on it. I'll be glad to give you comments on its progress. NJGW (talk) 05:41, 17 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
