edit

Hi, Welcome to Wikipedia. Your recent edits to Space Mountain (Magic Kingdom) have been reverted. While your edit was definitely made in good faith, no citation of a verifiable source was provided. Such a citation allows other editors, like myself and the others who work on the Walt Disney World articles, to check the article for accuracy.

On a related note, it is important to remember that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, so it deals in facts, not rumors. I, too, have heard rumors about Space Mountain closing sometime in 2009 for a major renovation project, and I've even heard some potential closing dates. The latter I've even heard from Disney cast members. However, because such a source is not considered reliable, it can't be the basis for editing the article.

All that said, I applaud your requesting information and assistance on the article's talk page. That shows me that you are willing to work with other editors when making a possibly controversial or significant edit, which is a very good sign for a new Wikipedia editor. So please don't construe this as a warning ... instead, consider it helpful criticism to someone I hope enjoys working on this project as much as I do.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me on my talk page. Thanks, and happy editing!
