Adoption

edit

Yeah, that would be great! I'm on vacation right now, but I will try to help as much as possible. Also, due to the fact that I know you, you can email me, you know where, and that will be checked as often as possible, if I can. Thanks, and since you probably don't already know how adoption works, you can go to the Adoptee's Welcome Center, and the Wikipedia Introduction, available at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Adopt-a-User/Adoptee%27s_Area and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Welcome%2C_newcomers . Hope this helps, and I will begin a detailed tutorial about Wikipedia as soon as you reply on my talk page. This is my first time, so I hope I am helpful, and I would like critiques as I go. Love, peace, friendship, and all that good stuff, Neranei 19:17, 10 June 2007 (UTC) P.S. did you post twice on my user page? Thanks, NeraneiReply

Adoption

edit

I'll be gone for a few days, as you already know, so I can't begin the tutorial until I get back. By the way... only you can change your signature. Email me if you need help, that will be checked more often then this. For now, read through the tutorial. I'm sorry that I cannot help more, but I'm away so it is kind of hard. Good luck, Soren. The tutorial is here. Neranei 08:43, 12 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello again

edit

Hey Soren, what's up? Hows Wikipedia going? I know that I have a comments section of my page, but, since it's YOU, would you miind posting on my talk page? That way, I get that nice orange bar, "You have new messages...click here" thingy. Thanks so much, Neranei 15:43, 29 June 2007 (UTC). (By the way, do you like my signature?} You know where to find me. Email me please!Reply

Yeah, okay, I can do that. Yeah, I LURVE your signature! Call me please! Urgent! --Soren 18:59, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, don't put those userboxen I sent you on my page, I figured out how to put them on myself. Forgot you were at the church mission! Have fun? Like my new signature? --Essence 22:01, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

Hello again Soren, about the vandalism reverting, follow the steps I gave you. You know where to find me always! :) Oh, and your signature is very cool. Just one thing: Would you mind posting messages on my talk page? That way, I know you've contacted me. Thanks so much! Always, Neranei T/C 23:37, 17 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hey Essence/Soren/Alagaesia dragon, Vandals are always a problem. I know that you would like a faster method for reverting than manually reverting; go to WP:POP and install the script in your monobook.js file per the directions. Hope it helps! Always, Neranei T/C 01:19, 22 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Userboxes

edit

No, I will work on them though. We've got company (as you know) so I will try to call you but it may not happen. Do you need help with making any more userboxes with images? And just for your information, you're not really supposed to use talk pages for non-Wikipedia communication. So, since you know where to find me, please email me. Cheers, Neranei T/C 22:49, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image userboxes

Yes, of course, sweetheart! Always willing to help. Here is some sample code: . Love, Neranei (talk) 22:42, 12 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Here ya go, dear.
File:Murtagh.png This user's favorite character from the Inheritance Trilogy is Murtagh.

The code is (just for reference):

Here is the .css code, just copy and paste this into your monobook.css file. .usermessage { background-color: #6495ED; border: 2px solid #0000C8; } Neranei (talk) 23:01, 12 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Glad you like it. :) Tell me if you need anything! (You know where to find me...) Love, Neranei (talk) 23:08, 12 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
Absolutely, sweetheart. You know where to find me! (Please do, dear, I haven't heard from you in a while.) Love, Neranei (talk) 00:06, 15 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Barnstar

edit

You deserve a barnstar for the Eragon templates, and i would give you one, but i cant draw or graphically design....anything. At all. --Gen. S.T. Shrink *Get to the bunker* 02:56, 28 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

The Ancient Language

edit

Eka huildr néiat iet manin frá The Inheritance Cycle... of the language anymore. (I guessed with the grammar; I apologize.) I was a pretty fluent speaker, and started working on a dictionary project to teach others... and then I started high school. I found your page with the Google search terms "alagaësia ancient language fluent speaker". I have to write this here, just to show that at some point you probably were not alone as a speaker. I'll study it more this summer and probably get back to you... MusicLover42 (talk) 02:40, 27 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Survey

edit

Hi Alagaesia dragon!

I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!

It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!

Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!

Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you!
