Hi Aksaur, welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for Recently I noticed you made an edit on List of weather records that changed the record high value for India from 50°C to 51.6°C. However, the original value (50°C) had an inline citation. Information of Wikipedia needs to be verifiable, and this is done by giving the source of the material added. In general, material that is sourced should not be changed, unless a more reliable source is given for the new information.
Since your edit didn't specify where you got the information from, I have reverted it for now. If you have a more reliable source (such as, say, the Indian Meteorological Department), then feel free to add it, but make sure to include it in the article. If you have any questions about this or anything else, or you need help, please let me know, either by responding to this talk message or leaving a note on my talk page. Just click on "Edit" at the top of the page.
One other small thing: When you made this edit you marked it as a minor edit. Minor edits on Wikipedia are for things that don't change the meaning of the article, such as fixing spelling and grammar, or minor formatting changes. The edit you made, while very small, changed the meaning of the article, which means it really shouldn't have been marked as minor. Don't worry about this now, it's not a big deal, but just keep it in mind for the future.
I hope you continue editing Wikipedia! Dendrite1 (talk) 12:14, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
