Present date formats

edit

Hello, I've noticed you removing "–present" for simply "–," and this is wrong per the above manual of style. Per the sub-section, MOS:DATETOPRES, it states: "For ranges "to present", constructions such as 1982–present (with unspaced en dash), January 1, 2011 – present (spaced ndash), or January 2011 – present (spaced ndash) may be used, but other constructions may be more appropriate in prose (see § Statements likely to become outdated). Do not use incomplete-looking constructions such as 1982– and 1982–... ." YYYY–present is the proper format; YYYY– is wrong per this. Also, {{Flatlist}} is implemented on | years = because of follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines for people with visual disabilities and user agents. Just thought I'd properly point this out. livelikemusic (TALK!) 12:39, 15 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Did you not read any of this? It is policy, not preference. Revert again, and you will be reported for violating Wikipedia policy. livelikemusic (TALK!) 12:17, 19 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
