Welcome to the class

Greetings, So, looks like we're partnered up for this project. My background of things that I've been exposed to is pretty diverse, so any topic that you find interesting is ok by me. KevinBrownJHU (talk) 05:37, 1 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi Kevin, I work in a high through put genotyping lab for seed products - not really a diverse background, but I am open to learn new things! How far along are you in your graducate studies? This is my second semester. AjoneWiki (talk) 14:32, 1 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
Sounds like it could be an interesting job. Making new products for farmers to grow to feed an ever growing population. Or find a good plant for new biofuel production. This is my first semester working towards this degree. KevinBrownJHU (talk) 05:10, 4 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

I like your changes to the Leader section of the page. Added well to what I had there earlier. I added some information about mi/siRNAs and fixed up some of the image captions to try and make them more relevant to the page. KevinBrownJHU (talk) 04:48, 13 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thank you! Good job on expanding the article. My main struggle right now is too keep the tone non-technical. I am going to work on a short paragraph on DNA repair functions as well, not sure if it's worth to have it's own section yet.AjoneWiki (talk) 04:53, 13 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
I am wondering if it might be easier to have the complementary intro and then start a new section with all kinds of functions? Like, for right now I edited DNA repair functions under DNA base pair complementary,as it's really out of the scope if we made it's very own section, but I think if we make a section just for functions it might be more organized...just something to consider for future edits.AjoneWiki (talk) 05:18, 13 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for all the work you've put into the article this semester. It has been fun working with you and looks like we've made a lot of progress in improving our article. Will be nice to see if it continues to improve after we're done. Good luck on your coming classes. KevinBrownJHU (talk) 02:04, 15 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

It has been a pleasure working with you, too. I am definitely going to "watch" our article in the future.AjoneWiki (talk) 02:09, 15 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
