- I am guilty of starting large projects and neglecting them. Ironic since the subjects I write about have that sort of mentality ingrained. Axis and Soviet air operations can be finished off soon. I'll take a look at it. Milch will have to wait for now. The Kuban air battle was certainly important, but air forces were always subordinated to the land battle in the east—though both German and Soviet air doctrine were far broader than the exercise of their forces in war would suggest. I'm not convinced it could be treated as an independent article. I think Richthofen is more or less finished. FYI. Dapi89 (talk) 13:25, 10 November 2019 (UTC)

Hello again. The article does contain some details about what he was charged with and why. Unrestricted submarine warfare was removed because of similar conduct by the US in the Pacific and as far as I can see Proffessor David Zabecki and others regard his convictions concerning the Laconia and Commando order to be unjust—but this view is not universal. I would say as far as military matters are concerned, Dönitz was justly convicted for attacks on neutral shipping within the German exclusion zones. Whether this was practical or not, it was a violation of the 1936 London treaty and as the aggressors, the exclusion zone was the creation of a criminal regime so has no legitimacy even in wartime. There will be more on Nuremberg. But not much more. I intend to add information on the navy's use of slave labour and alleged involvement in transporting Jews around the Baltic, which relates to the Holocaust.
