What's the dispute about this time? Khoikhoi 05:55, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
Re:
editWell done. I like the choices very much; however, I propose we change the photos of Andranik, Bayrakdarian, Mashtots and Petrosian. I know of much better ones for all four. I'll show the photos to you later tonight so you can implement the changes. -- Ευπάτωρ Talk!! 00:55, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
- Here we go for Bayrakdarian, I suggest you use of these two:[1], [2]. for Andranik either this [3] or this [4] (I mainly object to the non-Armenian hat he's wearing on the current photo). I changed my mind about changing Petrosian's photo.
I couldn't find a better illustration of Mashtots, I think the current one really sucks though. Consider replacing Mashtots altogether with Vartan Mamikonian,...Another thing that bugs me is that we have so many artists and no scientists there, I wish Victor Hambartsumian was there...-- Ευπάτωρ Talk!! 15:56, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- This [5] and this [6] can both be used with PD-Russia. As for Mashtots, the current image really blows, so just try to find a better one (not the statue) or if not you can always replace him with Vartan or even St. Isaac. If there is no alternative for Andranik then replace him with Victor.-- Ευπάτωρ Talk!! 21:19, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- So you don't want to replace Andranik with Hambartsumian? As for Isabelle's current photo, my edit patterns should help you figure that one out.-- Ευπάτωρ Talk!! 23:59, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- Nope. Let's just say she looks better in the other ones. So there are 9 people now? Who's the 9th, Vartan? -- Ευπάτωρ Talk!! 00:16, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

Nakhichevan (2)
editI think I have a solution. We can use your version, but we can also quote from the HRW (or Weisbrode or Croissant). How does that sound? Khoikhoi 06:33, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
- Anyways, my point is that we should state what the sources say, and if we don't have any sources that say it was unprovoked, then we shouldn't say that. Khoikhoi 06:33, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
- This sounds like a good idea to me. I hope GM agrees... Khoikhoi 05:35, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
Not sure if you still need it but here's an excerpt:
"Armenia denied its troops had crossed into the Nakhichevan region. It acknowledged that Armenian forces had punched through a corridor linking Armenia and the disputed enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh and that convoys of supplies and wounded were now travelling along it.
"The Armenians do not react to diplomatic pressure. It's vital to speak to them in a language they understand," Rza Ibadov, Nakhichevan's foreign minister, told the ITAR-Tass news agency."
...
"Mr. Ibadov, speaking to the agency from the Turkish capital Ankara, said Armenian fighters had pressed their offensive into Nakhichevan for the second consecutive day and controlled two strategic peaks. He said Armenia's aim in the region was to seize control of Nakhichevan.
Mr. Ibadov said fierce battles were raging around the town of Sadarak and residents had been moved out of villages near the scene. He appealed to Ankara to accommodate the overflow of injured residents in Turkish hospitals."
-"Azeri minister asks Turkey to send weapons Border region of Nakhichevan seeks help to counter Armenian threat". Reported by Reuters News Agency, wire carried by the Globe and Mail (Canada) on May 20, 1992. pg. A.10. --MarshallBagramyan 19:24, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
Question
editHello Aivazovsky I was wondering if Artsvashen city should also be included in the template called Cities and Towns in Armenia the template that shows under every Armenian cities? I thought it should be included because it is officially Armenian city and part of Gegharkunik province of Armenia. I am having a hard time editing that template, can you please help me add Artsvashen or if you could do it that would be fine with me. ROOB323 19:36, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for adding. ROOB323 19:59, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

editHey Aivazovsky,
I reverted an edit by Canerguclu (talk · contribs) on the Azerbaijani language article, and then he asked me for an explanation. Upon looking more closely, I have to say that he made some good points. For example, the Kars region was home to many civilizations in addition to Armenia—right? Then again, hasn't the area where the Ayrum dialect is spoken become part of Azerbaijan recently? I was wondering if you could look into this, and perhaps give me your opinion on the matter. Thanks, Khoikhoi 02:57, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

editHi Aivazovsky. OttomanReference asked me if we should merge Armenakan Party and Ramgavar Party together and in the history section mention that they were both the same party until 1921 when Armenakan Party becme known as Ramgavar Party. Saints
editHi. Have u seen this? Hectorian 18:38, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
- In fact this category is placed in the category "Turkish people". It is clearly an anachronism, caused, perhaps, by geographic confusion. There is already the "Category:Byzantine saints" (which is also placed in that one), in which all of them can be placed, but a category "Saints from Asia Minor or Anatolia" would also be OK. Lets wait to see Khoikhoi's ideas on the matter. Regards Hectorian 19:04, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
You don't need to be an admin to rename a category. Wikipedia:How to rename (move) a page states, "To change the name of a category, one needs to change all category tags, and copy the editable part." Therefore, you can simply create Category:Saints from Anatolia, and use it to replace Category:Turkish saints. Cheers, Khoikhoi 23:03, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
- Well done Aivazovsky:). I've added the page in my watchlist. Cheers! Hectorian 23:54, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

editHello! I understand the concern the death of Hrant Dink has brought to you. That is why I am just leaving a reminder that fair use images should be used exclusively in the article namespace while, in other situations, I would have removed it. After a prudential time, please consider just linking to his article, as keeping the image in your user page may encourage others to do the same and, while it is a good tribute, it goes against one of our core policies. Thank you, and stay safe. -- ReyBrujo 18:11, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

editDear Cleve, my condolences for the loss of such a great man. This loss is a strong blow for the Armenian nation however, his dedication and believe in justice and incorruptible historical truth will leave on for decades to come. His vision is shared by many and his death will intensify the struggle against the revisionists of historical reality and ultra-chauvinism in any society. My deep condolences to the Armenian nation. - Hello Aivazovsky. I just noticed your message on my WP talk page. Being very busy in real life, I’m currently not active on Wikipedia. I’ll try to find out other Caucasus-related publications authored by Andrew Andersen. I still think that the best solution is to contact Andersen himself and request the sources he used for his description of the division of Qazakh. Best, KoberTalk 10:15, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

- Thanks for the kind words Tigran, but I'm still waiting for an apology from you regarding your behavior towards me on the Shushi/Shusha talk page. -- Aivazovsky 01:45, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
Sure, buddy, sorry about what happened there:) You know, when we both said things that we didn't mean.--TigranTheGreat 01:58, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks! Being a fellow Armenian, I knew you'd come around...eventually...;) -- Aivazovsky 02:15, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
No problem:) You should always be proud of your part-Turkic ancestry.--TigranTheGreat 02:22, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- But I'm not Turkish, I'm Hungarian. Hungarians are Finno-Ugric peoples whose languages derive from Uralic (NOT Altaic which would be Turkic, Mongolic, and Tungusic). By your classification Finns and Estonians are supposedly Turks too. It appears as though you haven't learned anything. -- Aivazovsky 02:32, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
I was just teasing you :) So, how have you been?--TigranTheGreat 02:39, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- No, you know what, I'm tired of this. I'm proud of being part Hungarian as well as Armenian. If you can't accept that then don't give me any sort of "congrats" because I know that it's insincere. -- Aivazovsky 02:35, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
How do you know I was insincere? I don't have problem with your Hungarian ancestry.--TigranTheGreat 02:39, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I don't appreciate anybody "teasing" me about my ethnic background. -- Aivazovsky 02:40, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
I was teasing you about our debate back in December.--TigranTheGreat 02:42, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- Just don't tease me about anything. -- Aivazovsky 02:48, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
Why not? We Armenians do it all the time.--TigranTheGreat 02:50, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Hello. You participated in the edit war here today, with two reverts and no attempts at communication on the talk page. Please pursue dispute resolution, using only polite discussion and not excessive reverts in the future. Thanks. Dmcdevit·t 05:49, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
- I left this message earlier and you deleted it. Let me repeat, engaging in sterile reverting across many pages is unproductive. When you have disputes with others, you must use dispute resolution, and not engage in edit warring. In particular, taking advantage of your opponents' blocks to revert all their last edits is not acceptable: [10], [11], [12], [13], [14]. Referring to another editor's edits as "vandalism" as you did here is inappropriate and constitutes incivility. Furthermore, comments like "Watch for Adil." show that you have the wrong attitude. Wikipedia is not a battleground, please read WP:NOT#BATTLEGROUND, and a hostile approach is counterproductive. When you return from the block, please make sure you try dispute resolution and mediate your disputes rather than confrontational edit warring. Dmcdevit·t 23:51, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Request reason:
I request that I be unblocked because I was already leaving Wikipedia before User:Dmcdevit placed the notification on my user page. No academic sources take this website seriously and its becoming increasingly clear to me that in cases such as the Armenian-Azeri conflict, it's become used as a base for forwarding ethnic bias and tension. I don't want to contribute on Wikipedia anymore. I'd rather do something productive with my time. All the best, Aivazovsky 00:05, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You have not been blocked directly. Please follow these instructions. It's also worth noting that Wikipedia deliberately does not attempt to be a reliable source. -- Yamla 00:28, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- I'm confused on two counts. First, I'm not sure how this makes sense -- if you want to leave, why are you requesting unblocking? Second, I don't see any blocks in your block log -- if you're blocked, it's probably through your IP address or an autoblock (if you copy-paste the {{unblock-auto}} template generated on the "you're blocked" page you'll see when trying to edit when blocked, that should be enough information to resolve that). – Luna Santin (talk) 00:15, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- Seeing as how I can't edit any articles outside of my user talk page, I would say that I've been blocked (actually auto blocked). I want to be unblocked so I can remove myself from all the WikiProjects I joined. -- Aivazovsky 00:22, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Clearing an autoblock
Due to the nature of the block applied, we need additional information before we can decide whether to unblock you. It is very likely that you are not personally blocked. If you are prevented from editing, it may be because you are autoblocked or blocked because of your IP address. Without further details, there is nothing further we can do to review or lift your block. Please follow these instructions:
- If you have a Wikipedia account, please ensure that you are logged in.
- Your account name will be visible in the top right of this page if you are.
- If it isn't, try bypassing your web browser's cache.
- Try to edit the Sandbox.
- If you are able to edit the sandbox, you are not blocked from editing. Either the autoblock on your IP address has already expired, or you weren't blocked in the first place. Either way, you can resume editing.
- If you are still blocked, follow the directions below:
- Copy the {{unblock-auto|...}} code generated for you under the "Unblock request" section.
- Paste the code at the bottom of your user talk page, and click save.
- If you cannot edit your own talk page, use the Unblock Ticket Request System to make your request.

Warmongering?
editYou wrote: And no Armenians are not warmongers. I could say that the Finns are (on Karelia), but I don't think that its right to go around insulting ethnic groups or falsely accusing them of wanting war. That's the last thing the Armenians really want, especially with Turkey. If this did happen then Armenia would cease to exist. -- Aivazovsky 03:41, 3 March 2007 (UTC) [16]
- You may have misunderstood me. I am not saying Armenians are warmongers. On the contrary, I am saying that they are not! I do feel that the ProKarelia people and their ilk are mongers on some kind. Rejecting the Treaty of Kars is also a form of mongering. I did not think any Armenian minister would take this view. Some Armenian editors, however seem to claim so. -- Petri Krohn 04:42, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

editI don't know whatever I did it for the Armenian editors or rather against AdilBaguirov, probably the later. I tried helping Grandmaster out also, he does not want to listen to me. Adil has a very bad influence on him. Take the situation as if you are on a court. Someone is accused of a crime and the evidences are just too strong, and then another person is accused of complicity. How do you think the judge will take it, if that person accused of complicity start justifying the acts, make it as there was nothing wrong and even defending the person mainly accused. The evidence used against the main accused will harm the person who refuse to dissociate himself from that person and once one is sentenced he will bring down with him that person who justified his acts. Refusing to accept you did something wrong will get you a much harsher sentence. Fad (ix) 16:41, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
Azeri-Related Articles
editHi Aivazovsky,
I would like to know why you removed links to the Azeris in Armenia article from Blue Mosque, Yerevan and Erivan khanate. The first one clearly states that the mosque mostly served the needs of Yerevan's Azeri community. In the second one it says, that Azeris were one of the two major ethnicities in the khanate. Both articles are explicitly Azeri-themed. So why remove it? Parishan 01:07, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

Qazakh
editI am glad that there is an attempt for resolution on Qazakh, and I wish all of this was addressed on talk page. But there are some issues to be resolved, and I am waiting for Khoikhoi's response on that. Namely, I agree to Azerbaijani exclaves of Barkhudarli and Yuxari Askipara being mentioned as military controlled, instead of occupied, but specific reference should be made that the State Department, UN SC resolutions, PACE and CoE reports do spell the word "occupied".
Regarding Andersen, I cannot agree, I am sorry. If his credibility is not legible for this article, I don't see why he would qualify for having his invented maps decorate other pages. So, specifically his map will have to go away from Azerbaijan Democratic Republic page as being simply fake and unsubstantiated. Instead, I propose using the map of ADR presented to the Paris Peace Conference in 1919. I guess the Armenian side can do the same for the DRA page. These are conflicting maps, but at least the posting of each sides official maps reflects their respective views at that time, and will let the reader take an impartial view. Since neither ADR nor DRA were de-jure recognized within certain borders, that could be a good compromise. And I leave it up to Georgian side to accept or reject this, they can continue showing Andersen's map if they want to. I do have body of material at hand to substantiate that Georgia claimed the Lori district from Armenia and that, the Georgian takeover of Borchaly, Azerbaijan initially complained to Georgia then simply gave in (per Hajinski) for the sake of alliance. There is no evidence about Zaqtala district.Atabek 14:45, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
- Let's leave emotions aside and concentrate on resolution. Yes, Paris Peace conference map presents the claims of ADR, but so does the Paris Peace conference map of Armenia present the claims of DRA. So if you accuse Azerbaijani side of allegedly "attempting to take over Caucasus", same can apply to Armenia vice versa. Since neither side was recognized, and since Andersen's map is simply untrue and unsubstantiated, the best compromise might be just presenting both maps and saying this was ADR view and this was DRA view, and neither side's position was recognized since final borders were not demarcated. I think that's a fair approach. Mikkalai's opinion is quite relevant to revealing the fact that Andersen does not qualify as a scholar. His position vs Ldingley is none of concern on Qazakh topic. Atabek 14:53, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
- Georgian users are welcome to claim what they like as well. But the evidence should be substantiated by scholars and NPOV sources. An adventurist Canadian blogger, allegedly fired from University for racism against Muslims, and not having a single publication in any reputable or non-reputable journal or conference, simply is not acceptable for encyclopedic material. In addition, he is also not acceptable for his proven racist (thus biased) stance to Azerbaijani side. Atabek 14:58, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
- Again, Mikkalai's view of Ldingley is irrelevant, given the fact that references Mikkalai presented are verifiable.
- You should never say "I will never agree", that does not really show your interest in having compromise. As I said, instead of having biased and fake map taking one of the sides against the other or coloring territories randomly, we should have just everyone present their view of the story on their respective page: DRA MFA map on DRA page and ADR MFA map on ADR page. I have access to both maps, if you can find them. My objective is not to show part of Armenia was Azerbaijan or vice versa and start arguments over it, when neither side was recognized de jure anyway. My objective is to rid Wikipedia of unqualified and adventurist blogger's reference, which has no encylopedic or scholarly basis whatsoever, plus taking sides. And if you think Andersen map is fair you should not, it misrepresents and simply lies about many claims of control on Georgian-Armenian issue as well, and not to Armenian favor. But the bulk of Andersen's fake map scribbles is directed against Azerbaijan.Atabek 15:07, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for revealing your uncompromising position on that one. I don't think we should go back and forth on this, "I agree" - "I disagree". As I said, Andersen was disqualified as scholar, so he should be out not just of Qazakh references, but from any page which uses him as reference per view of editors. I guess, I will wait for Khoikhoi and request separate arbitration on Andersen issue specifically. Mikkalai's evidence as well as those presented by myself and AdilBaguirov should serve as a good basis for ridding Wikipedia of Andersen's adventurist and proven racist POV. Atabek 15:15, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
- I don't see a point for your argument, as DRA map for Paris Peace Conference also reflects the extensive designs of Armenia upon Azerbaijan similarly. Or maybe you're concerned about Wilsonian map being revealed which recognized whole of Elisavetpol governorate as part of Azerbaijan. We can show that one as well. Those are legitimate maps made at the time and presented at conferences and official meetings. Andersen's invention is made 100 years later and not based on historical research. Khoikhoi is already on the case and you're welcome to invite Kober, I don't see why he would disagree posting the official maps of DRG, especially because Georgia unlike Armenia and Azerbaijan was recognized de-jure in 1921. Atabek 15:22, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

Khachkar destruction
editYou deleted this article without discussion again. However I think that to resolve the dispute I can agree to leave that article as a redirect, if you agree to keep the khachkar issue at the article about Julfa and not to create any new POV fork articles on the same topic. khachkar destruction
editok, I agree on redirect on condition that you will finally stop Artaxiad from multiplying conflict related pages. Otherwise it does not make sense - we can reach agreement, as once we did with you, but he continue his activity. At least for Khachkar problem we should also delete section on page Nakhchevan [19] or put redirect. Also Artaxiad put that dispute on page "Cultural genocide", as usually supported by Fadix. Otherwise, without these two users we can't reach agreement. At least, I am not bound to that.--Dacy69 21:38, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Aivazovsky (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I request that my block be lifted or at least shortened. I only reverted this article once so I fail to see how I could have violated the 1RR parole. I wasn't aware that discussing reverts was part of the parole. Also, if I should have been blocked, it should have been close to the time of my edit. In this case, I made that edit on March 25 and wasn't blocked until March 27. If my action was so severe then why wasn't I blocked immediately? -- Aivazovsky 01:23, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Not only is it very clearly laid out in the injunction ("Until the conclusion of this case, all parties are restricted to one content revert per article per day, and each content revert must be accompanied by a justification on the relevant talk page"), but I can count three times this specific instruction has been mentioned on your talk page. I don't see how the timing is relevant. Kuru talk 01:57, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

My thoughts on the decision
editI hope that the arbitrators will read my comments and take them into consideration. While I agree with the ArbCom on most of their decisions, I feel that there are some parts of their decision should be revisited.
First of all, I believe that a one year block for User:AdilBaguirov won't solve anything because he'll just return after the block has expired and cause more trouble. I think that the best solution for to this issue would be to indefinitely block Adil from Wikipedia. Secondly, I feel that User:Eupator and User:Fedayee should be granted reduced sentences from one year blocks to revert paroles. In all fairness, Fedayee had very little involvement in Armenian-Azeri issues until this whole dispute sprung up and Eupator made some very positive contributions to Wikipedia (especially on WikiProject Armenia and Portal:Armenia) that should not be overlooked. Both of these users have done more good to Wikipedia than bad. I actually think that User:TigranTheGreat (who has made offensive comments towards users on a few occasions) deserves a one year block more than either of these users. I'm not sure where I stand on the verdict of User:Fadix as I haven't paid too much attention to his edits.
I agree on the rest of the decisions. My own revert parole will keep me disciplined while editing Wikipedia. All the best, Aivazovsky 12:08, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

To Satisfy Your Curiosity
editHrant Dink did not ever ask the Turkish government nor the Turkish people to recognize the so-called genocide. Instead he always said that a tragedy had taken place during the Ottoman times. "I call it a genocide of Armenians, but it is not important what the name is. The fact that people of these lands can draw the same lessons, feeling the same sorrow over the same events is important," he said because he knew both Turks and Armenians suffered in this tragedy. He was a good man, who worked hard to recreate the bonds of friendship between Armenians and Turks, that have been weakened as a result of Armenian diaspora's efforts. As an Armenian American, do you know how he blamed you (the Diaspora) for standing against a peace between Turks and Armenians? Just curious... --Scientia Potentia 19:16, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

editPlease check [20]. I think I only changed Aras to Aras+ Arpacay, among the things you mentioned on the talk page. The link to the municipality was deleted, I restored that. I added several info like cotton being grown there, and some info from other Wiki articles like Erivan khanate and Armenian oblast, the other ones are minor edits. I can remove Arpacay, I am going to restore the removed ref that I noticed now, ethnic cleansing is OR, there. denizTC 22:18, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

Lol, sorry for that, Aivazovsky. denizTC 23:08, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
I apologize if I added to your frustrations. The thing is don't be bothered by what's happening in Wikipedia. Wikipedia editors (Turkish, Armenian, or any other nationality) does not have to reflect the nationality. I think 'vandals' are overrepresented in Wikipedia, as people usually need some reason to be an editor and vandals have their reason (I am not claiming that any of the people you mentioned were vandals). Also, editors might become more of a hardliner after several discussions. I guess/hope that as time passes, the vandals will decrease, not just by leaving wiki but also by changing for the good (more often than 'normal' people becoming vandals), I have such high hopes, that's why I am not so sad having joined late. denizTC 23:45, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

Bedros Kapamajian
editHi! I took a look at the article in question. You are aware that the Y.G.Çark reference is Yervant Gomidas Çarkcıyan, right? I possess a 2006 re-publication of the book which I previously used in other articles to cite from. I can check the citation there very easily, if such a check is considered valid in this particular debate. On the other hand, you specifically did not want Armenian or Turkish sources, so perhaps a book in Turkish published by an Armenian Catholic priest is not considered good enough? I'm a little confused here, so if you can elaborate a little on what the controversy is, I would appreciate it. What is being disputed? Kapamajian's existence or details on the facts? Regards, --13:23, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- Hi! I checked the book and the info from the book is here. As for assessing the credibility, I have no idea. It is published. I've read it. It is in Turkish so being able to obtain a copy may not be very useful for you, but here is an online bookshop that carries it: Ideefixe Unfortunately I don't think they made any provision for someone not speaking Turkish and purchasing a book in Turkish, so the site is in Turkish as well. Ah, you'll see the book's author listed as Rahip G. Çarkçıyan on the web site, Rahip means Reverend. If you need any further help with this, let me know. Regards, Free smyrnan 18:29, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- The Teotik reference, I have no clue, I just tried to provide some info so people could follow its trail. Çarkçıyan at the end of the book has a very short piece, where he makes several references to "the calamity known to us all", "the calamity at Syria". That was 1953, remember. I believe the Diaspora was also referring to it as medz yeghern, the great calamity. Free smyrnan 18:54, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
I see that you guys got on the case.. That's good, because I also tried to make some research, but on such obscure subjects I only have access to sources I can find on the Net. Well, I have to admit that I couldn't find much, and I kind of see where your hesitations are coming from since it seems really hard to find sources. But I was never a history specialist, so I really have no clue.
I also took another look at the article, and it is true that certain parts (esp certain details) can use more solid sources. When I had first come across the debate I was a bit more sure, but now that I think about it you also have valid points so I really don't know really. I mean, most probably the guy did exist, but maybe the specifics need to be ironed out. Maybe work can be done in the article to clarify any POV issues? I suppose further debate is needed in the article's talk page. Btw, where is Ottoman? I am sure he knows more about the subject, so it would be nice if he could join in the debate.. I will leave a note for him.. Baristarim 04:35, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

The arbitration case involving you has closed. The Arbitration Committee has placed you on standard revert parole for a year. This means that you may revert only once per article per week except to revert obvious vandalism. Furthermore, you must explain your reasonings for content reverts on the associated talk page.
