Request reason:

Hi! I don't see why I should have been blocked from Wikipedia. This is not a sock puppet account and has in fact been active since about 2004, and I have created an article in the German wikipedia in 2007 (or 2006?) on Poetizität -> c.f. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poetizit%C3%A4t Regarding the article on Viastore: I saw the speedy deletion, I checked the German article, compared them, found them equally good, then removed the speedy deletion, leaving a note on the talk page of this very article. No need to speedy-block me here. Thanks for undoing! Aike (talk) 07:28, 4 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

PS: You should also see my comment on the speedy deletion here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Viastore_Systems

Aike, you say this account has been active since about 2004. I checked the logs, though, and this account was created on 2016-08-02 (though perhaps from an account on another Wikimedia site). Additionally, the only contributions have been around Viastore Systems. Can you please clarify what you mean? Can you also state explicitly that you are unrelated to Vherter (talk · contribs) and specifically do not know that person? For example, we need to make sure this isn't a coworker. --Yamla (talk) 11:19, 4 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hi again! It seems to be a problem of the English wikipedia website. I have been active on the German wikipedia since 2004, as you can see here: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spezial:Beitr%C3%A4ge/Aike . I guess Wikimedia uses a shared user database and I am therefore able to login to the German, English and French wikipedia. I checked with the Spanish wiki and am instantly logged in there, too.

I can also say that I'm unrelated to Vherter (talk · contribs) and don't know to whom that account belongs.

Sorry for all the confusion. I thought I could start contributing on the English wiki, too. Might have been a mistake and I should stay on my German site. If you consider this a "sock puppet" account, go ahead and block me on the English wiki. I'll stick to the German one, then.

So let me see if I understand this correctly. You last edited the German Wikipedia in 2013. After a three-year hiatus you happen on the article Viastore Systems and decide to contest the speedy deletion. That article is at that time two hours old, and the author happens to share your IP address. Yet you have no idea who that author might be, and this is entirely a coincidence. That's your story? Sorry, I don't believe it. Huon (talk) 19:20, 6 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

You and another user have been editing from the same computer (that is confirmed) and editing the same topic (Viastore Systems). That is as strong evidence of WP:sockpuppetry as possible. You have to explain that situation if you want to be unblocked. Vanjagenije (talk) 08:10, 5 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
