Moving a page

edit

When you want to move a page, please do not cut and paste an article's contents into the new page. Doing so destroys a page's history. Use the "move" button up at the top of the page instead. Regards, Jogers (talk) 16:31, 10 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I don't think newly created user accounts are capable of seeing this. I was looking for the 'move' button but I couldn't see it. Sorry if I caused any trouble -Acoustica 22:39, 10 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sandra Bernhard Edits

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Clearly you are a Sandra Bernhard fan and I think it is great that you are taking initiative to flesh out the articles dealing with her various albums. However some of the content you've included is not appropriate for Wikipedia. For insance you refer to the album "Excuses For Bad Behaviour (Part 2)" as "successful"; a statement like this expresses a point of view, which is not acceptable in an encyclopedia entry. I am goingto follow up and edit your articles, but please be careful of things like this in the future. Midnightguinea 23:41, 15 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have further been reviewing your extensive edits to the Sandra Bernhard articles made in October 2006. I am not sure exactly what you were doing, but it is clear you do not understand what a reference is. You cannot simply assert something and then provide a link to an unrelated article. If you say, for instance, "Anna Farris and Sandra Bernhard are friends and Farris appears on her album, which fans did not like," you must provide a reference that backs up THIS SPECIFIC INFORMATION. You cannot simply provide a link to an article about Sandra Bernhard which has nothing to do with the topic at hand. Because of your edits I am spending hours doing damage control. Please don't do this again. Midnightguinea 14:12, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
