What changes would you suggest the author apply to the article? I would suggest mainly adding a more brief overview of the article into the introduction. It currently gives a good concise description of the tree, but I would say add some brief information about the habitat/distribution and other sections of the topic. This would help give the reader a good understanding of the article at a first quick glance before they dive into the reading.

Whats the most important thing the author could do to improve the article? The biggest thing is just add more information to your introduction.

Did you notice anything about the article you reviewed that could be applicable to your own article? Yes, the taxonomy section helped give me a better understanding of what information should be provided under that section and the conservation section would be a good section to include in mine.
