Active in politics since 2009, dedicated youth icon Mr. Anshul Yadav has been working rigorously for the betterment of society on the ideology of the Samajwadi party following the path laid down by honorable Netaji. He has wisely handled the responsibilities assigned to him with a progressive approach. He has keenly pursued the interests of the disadvantaged classes, the downtrodden and has whole-heartedly worked for the benefit of the people of Etawah and adjacent vicinity. His approach towards public service has been very holistic and he draws his inspiration for a working ethic from the ideology of the socialist leader Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia. His accolades include contributions to the youth Awareness Program and various leadership responsibilities in assembly elections. He conducts regular interactions with the people of the state and strives to identify with the problem people face in the state and works consistently to resolve them at all levels.
Biography
Anshul was born on 29th September, 1987, to Mr. Rajpal Singh Yadav and Ms. Premlata Yadav. He is married to Dr. Sweety Yadav. As a child Anshul would often watch news with his father and barge him with a million questions about how it all worked. The Lok Sabha, the Rajya Sabha and their differences were his childhood mysteries. His list of friends was as long as a list could get. It was always a mixed bag of friends from all socio/economic backgrounds.
He was a born leader, from his school days he would help his classmates whenever he could by encouraging them to stand up against bullies or requesting the authorities for a new article that the class needed. His other passions were debating and sports. He represented his school at the district level in cricket as the team captain.! In his high school days he started taking a keen interest in politics and participated in several rallies, protests etc organised by the Samajwadi Party. He was moved by the ideologies of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia. He read extensively about the history of politics in India and about the prominent leaders of the past. His Uncle, the Samajwadi Party President Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav was a major influence. His speeches, ideology and method of public service inspired Anshul. Having been close to his uncle motivated him to follow in his footsteps.
Before he officially began his political career he was a keen social worker and was involved in intensive campaigning for the party in the 2007 general elections. All this and his numerous visits to the villages, towns and cities of the state, were in a conscious effort to know more deeply about the various dimensions of people’s day to day life which would help him later by offering him a perspective to life that was closer to reality enabling him.
District Panchayat Election (2015-2016
Mr. Anshul Yadav successfully campaigned the district panchayat election for himself as a Samajwadi Party candidate from Etawah in 2015-16 and became the youngest unopposed president of Distric Council of Etawah.
BY-ELECTION 2014
After the win in both the constituencies and the decision to vacate the Mainpuri loksabha seat. He campaigned for Mr. Tej Pratap Singh Yadav who was the Samajwadi Party’s candidate for the By- Elections. The campaign was successful resulting in the election of Mr. Tej Pratap Singh as the Member of Parliament.
